I know I make many cakes every weekend, but sometimes I take on an order that I know is going to challenge me—and this week was definitely one of those weeks! 🫣 And I’m truly so proud (and honestly impressed 😂) with how everything turned out! 🥰

And I need to brag on myself for a second: that “KD” is completely freehanded by me! No stencil used! No cookie cutter used! Just me looking at the photo and creating the design directly on the cake! 😍🙈

If you’re someone or a business who prints a lot of papers, especially using color ink, please comment any and all printer recommendations!! 🫶🏻
- I currently have the Cannon TS3522
And it’s worked but I’ve had it for only a few years and I honestly have so many issues with it. And I just want something new that will hopefully give me less issues!
❌One of my biggest issues with it is that it randomly decides it doesn’t want to print and there’s nothing wrong with it, no paper jams, has ink, is connected to WiFi and yet I still it won’t print.
💜Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

What does a fully booked/OVERBOOKED week look like?! 😭🫣🍰💖 THIS IS IT!!! So. SO. many cakes!!!

And SO many cupcakes, tea cookies, brownies, and jellyrolls… but of course I forgot to take pictures of all of those! 🤣🙈

Moving forward, as always, I will do my very best to accommodate last-minute orders whenever I can! However, I’m going to have to start limiting and monitoring the number of orders I take on each week. 🫶🏻

By doing this, I’ll be able to give each and every order the time and attention it deserves, spend more time on all of those little details that go into each cake, and most importantly, make sure I’m taking care of myself and my mental health along the way. 💕

As much as I absolutely LOVE baking and especially decorating all of your beautiful cakes each and every week, I also have to make sure I’m leaving time for my family, my friends, and a little bit of life outside of the cake shop! 🥹🫶🏻

I truly appreciate every single order, referral, message, and bit of support you all give my little business. It means more to me than you know! 🥰

So if you’re needing a cake, cupcakes, or desserts, please don’t wait until the last minute to reach out! 😉 I’ll always do my very best to squeeze in those last-minute orders when I have the availability, but once my weekly limit is reached, I may have to say no. And I truly do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!
