Hi everyone- Just wanted to give advance notice that I won’t be selling mince pies this year. I usually make my mincemeat around now so having made the decision, wanted to let you know. Sorry to disappoint but time commitments just won’t allow this year.

I'll be baking on Thursday, this will be my last "bake day" for a while as I will be working full time at the Treehouse Preschool from August 10th. I may still be able to accommodate special orders so please do get in touch should you have any baking needs! Meantime - scones and gingerbread loaves!

Tomorrow I will be making "Teacakes" - these are effectively Hot Cross Buns without the cross - perhaps, Not Cross Buns would be a better name!! It's a mixed spiced sweet dough with raisins and currants and a sugar glaze.

Tomorrow is a Bake Day! I'm starting back with Scones and a new item, Muffin Doughnuts - delicious sweet treats with a strawberry jam filling and cinnamon sugar topping!

I have introduced a new "no contact" pick up. Please only sign up if this works for you! Pick up time is between 2.30 and 5pm. Please text 832 628 6117 when you know the time you will arrive and I will place your items on a cooler at my door for your collection time. As businesses are beginning to open, ingredients becoming available and my family and I have all stayed clear of any infection, I'm looking at the option of starting baking again next week. Please can you comment below if you'd be interested in bakes at this time and what you would like? Of course a comment is in no way an obligation to purchase, just trying to gauge feedback from customers. Thank you!

Thank you to my customers who have been in touch about baking. I have decided that as ingredients are hard to obtain, I won't be doing any business bakes in the meantime. I feel that if and when flour is on the shelves, I would rather leave it for people to be able to buy for their families. Hopefully this will be a short term issue and I look forward to baking for you again soon. Thank you for understanding.
