Hey Lloyd’s Fam…
Yeah, we know… it’s been a long time. But a couple of updates.
First off, we want to thank you so much for your patience (we know those further north are itching to get back to the Bronx).
Trust, we wanted to be back up and running weeks ago, but due to delays with the renovation and equipment, we’ve had to hold out a little longer.
That said, we are hoping to be open very soon. We are currently just waiting on some pieces to get our ovens up and running. Once those are good to go, we’re in a good spot. We still have some finishing touches to do, but we won’t sacrifice your Thanksgiving carrot cake for that. As long as we get the ovens up and running we’ll be good to go, but again that’s still up in the air.
So say a prayer for the Lloyd’s Team (and the ovens), because we don’t want to experience the fire and brimstone if folks can’t get their cake for the holidays.
In the meantime, please check out our Lexington Avenue location, as we’ve moved up the street to 1565 Lexington Avenue, at the corner of a 100th street.
It’s a bigger space with seating, and you can even have a nice lil cup of coffee with your cake. At this location, we are currently operating on a first come, first serve basis prior to the Thanksgiving holiday and have good lot of inventory for our standard size carrot cakes.
Again, thanks so much for your patience and support, we love you guys to the moon, and we hope to see you soon.
