ORDERING POLICIES & TERMS OF SERVICE

By placing an order with Mama Fincham’s Sugar Rush, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following policies.

💳 PAYMENT POLICY
• All custom orders require payment in full to reserve your date and order.
• Orders are not considered booked until payment has been received.
• Orders placed within 7 days of the requested pickup date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
• Rush orders (placed after Friday at 5:30 PM for weekend pickup) are subject to a $25 rush fee and must be paid in full.
• No order will be started without payment.
• Returned payments, chargebacks, or payment disputes will result in refusal of future orders.

❌ CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
• Due to the custom nature of baked goods, all sales are final.
• No refunds will be issued for cancelled orders.
• Once an order has been confirmed and ingredients have been purchased, refunds will not be provided.
• Orders cannot be partially cancelled after booking.
• If an emergency arises, date changes may be considered on a case-by-case basis if sufficient notice is provided.

📅 ORDER CHANGES
• Any flavor, design, quantity, or pickup changes must be requested at least 5 days before pickup.
• Changes requested within 5 days of pickup may not be accommodated.
• Additional charges may apply if changes increase the cost of ingredients, labor, or supplies.

🚗 PICKUP POLICY
• Pickup is by appointment only.
• Please arrive at your scheduled pickup time.
• A 15-minute grace period is allowed.
• If you are more than 15 minutes late, pickup will be rescheduled to my next available time.
• No refunds will be issued if the rescheduled time does not fit your schedule.
• If you fail to pick up your order on the agreed date, Mama Fincham’s Sugar Rush is not responsible for product quality after the scheduled pickup window.

🚚 DELIVERY POLICY
• Delivery must be arranged during booking.
• Delivery fees must be paid before delivery.
• Please ensure your delivery address is correct.
• If an incorrect address is provided, an additional delivery fee may apply.
• Someone must be available to receive the order.
• If no one is available at delivery, the order will be returned and must be picked up at my next available time.
• Delivery fees are non-refundable.

🎂 PRODUCT CARE
• Once your order has been picked up or delivered, responsibility for the product transfers to the customer.
• Cakes, cheesecakes, puddings, chocolate-covered treats, and other perishable items should be refrigerated when appropriate.
• Mama Fincham’s Sugar Rush is not responsible for damage caused by improper transportation, storage, weather exposure, pets, children, or accidents after pickup/delivery.
• Customers are responsible for transporting cakes and desserts on a flat, level surface.

🏡 HOME BAKERY NOTICE
Mama Fincham’s Sugar Rush operates under Texas Cottage Food Laws.
Products are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

• Customers are responsible for informing guests of potential allergens.

📸 PHOTOS & MARKETING
• Mama Fincham’s Sugar Rush reserves the right to photograph orders and use those photos for advertising, social media, menus, website content, and promotional materials.

• Harassment, rude behavior, excessive messaging, or disrespect toward the baker will not be tolerated.
• Mama Fincham’s Sugar Rush reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.
