A little update!!
Sorry, we are behind on posting cakes from the last two weeks. A lot has been on our mind and we are trying to not get discouraged.
We have been getting quotes on building an addition from scratch or buying a building and attaching it to our building. We have limited financing options. But we are possibly going with buying a building and attaching it to the back of our existing building. And just finish it out a little at a time. Seems more cost effective.
We are still thinking of ways to raise money to help pay for this. We have 2 events coming up that we are dedicating all sales to the building fund. Plus we are still looking for flea markets or locally owned businesses that we can rent out a bookshelf size area to sell our packaged sweets.
