We don’t post much about stuff going on behind the scenes. But we try when possible to source ingredients locally. And wherever possible we use duck eggs in place of chicken. Duck eggs have bigger and richer yolks, adding flavor and a rich consistency to cake and other baked items. They are also much bigger in general so you can use less, meaning less cost to the customer. Here’s a duck egg next to a large chicken egg for size comparison. Both from our neighbor’s farm.

It’s been a busy weekend!

I think the thing that most got me into this business is the love of celebrating people. I love to be able to give people something I put a lot of work and thought into. This lil cutie is for my brother in law’s birthday. 🎂 🥳
