I have not been on my page in a while because I have been struggling. I was recently in hospital and was diagnosed with Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome (MALS). MALS is painful and can debilitate the person suffering with it at times. The surgery for MALS takes anywhere from 4-6 months up to 1 year to recover from. With that being said, I have cancelled all of my 2026 orders and will not be taking orders until after I have had surgery and time to recover. It is looking like I will not be back in action until sometime in 2028. Thank you to everyone who supported my business. Thank you for all of your understanding and well wishes. You’re all very much appreciated 🫶🏼 I can’t wait to start again when I am in better health so I can actually enjoy my work!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week! I’ve been going through my son’s toys and books and reorganizing things this week! I’m getting all of his things ready for school🫶🏼 send some comforting thoughts out for my family tomorrow as we celebrate the life of my Aunt Carol.

I’m taking orders for the end of September late October and early December. I don’t know if I’ll do anything special for Halloween. I am however contemplating whether or not I want to offer Christmas cookies or just Christmas themed mini loaf cakes. Let me know what you guys think!

I’ll soon be opening a second business for paintings and all the other hobby’s I get into! It will be called Zoe’s Odds & Ends. Includes but is not limited to: house paintings, cartoon character paintings, pyrography, a mix of pyrography and paint, crocheted items, hand sewn stuffies, embroidered pictures, hand made wreaths, wooden flower boxes (the kind shaped and painted like animals), plywood character cut outs, and it’s hard to tell what else!
It took me years to figure out I can’t keep everything I make!😆 😆

Don’t you worry though, I’ll still be doing cakes too! Buy cakes and art!

Yesterday I finished working on a different kind of art! My sweet friend is moving to a new house and knew her son would have a hard time with the change. I painted a picture of the house they’re moving out of so he can keep a picture of it with him forever!

With that being said, I also am going to start doing paintings of homes. I’m no professional artist. I’m mediocre at best when it comes to painting anything. I can’t paint people or animals (aside from birds like in this one). I’m a little rough at painting trees and plants. However, it’s an authentic-imperfect piece of art that was created by a human being instead of A.I. and I think that’s something to be proud of!

I may eventually open a second business dedicated to my painting.
