One of the farmstand owners in our network, Homemade on North Bakery, suffered a heartbreaking loss this week when severe storms brought down a tree and completely destroyed her bakery stand.
Along with the stand itself, she lost inventory, packaging supplies, security equipment, and the hard work she poured into preparing for the week. In her original post, she shared that she was so devastated she didn't plan to rebuild.
After hearing from so many encouraging voices, she has decided to share a way for those who feel led to help support rebuilding her little stand.
At Homestead Indiana, we believe local farmstands, cottage bakers, and makers are more than businesses, their neighbors pursuing a dream, sharing their talents, and strengthening our local communities.
