Cinnamon rolls have been a STRUGGLEEEEEEE. Over the last year I have tested and developed so many dough recipes, tried so many different methods, bought a dough proofer, a dough sheeter, various types of flours, yeasts and sugars. Nothing was really giving me the result that I wanted. Until these brioche beauties.

Like honestly, is there anything better than a child’s imagination? Had so much fun putting this cake together based off of the birthday boys request. Carrot cake with a blue ring octopus wearing a pirate hat with carrots floating in the ocean. Sometimes I seriously can’t handle how cool my job is, and that every day I get to wake up with the one goal of making people happy through food.
