🐷 Kiss the Pig Contestant Spotlight! 🐷

Katie Goodson didn’t hesitate when asked to join this year’s fundraiser. Her reason? “I love the United Way and the agencies we support! Raising funds for such an amazing organization is a no brainer — and honestly, a lot of fun too.”

When it comes to who should smooch the swine, Katie didn’t hold back… Mike Affentranger… definitely Mike! 😂

Katie stays busy serving our community as a member of the Arts & Cultural Commission for the City of Shawnee and through her businesses, where she proudly supports local schools and sports programs. Even more special — she’s already passing that spirit of generosity on to her daughter, who she says has a giving heart.

Her connection to United Way’s mission is deeply personal. Katie shared that Project: SAFE once helped her escape a dangerous situation and has remained a strong source of advocacy and support ever since — a powerful reminder of the real lives changed through your donations.

And here’s a fun twist… Katie has a degree in Architecture, but around town she’s much better known as “the donut lady!” 🍩 Shout out to Ma Beasley’s Daylight Donuts - Tecumseh, OK!
