Shirt says “I bake so much it’s scary” and that has definitely been October for me.

I had an order for 1000 printed Halloween cookies for a large hospital party.

1000 cookies.

Still a little shell shocked that it all got done, but it most definitely wouldn’t have without the help I was so blessed to have. That’s probably the only reason this isn’t a horror story I’m sharing for Halloween.

I have some amazing friends, who are definitely “found family” and we did it together. They were helping cut and bake cookies while I was dipping or icing other cookies, helping with the dishes and clean up, and getting everything packaged at the end.

So I know everyone is going to be full swing into Christmas tomorrow, but I’m going to sit here in this win for a bit.

Back to school. Let’s do it.

My kids start back this week, and while part of me can’t believe the summer is already over, there is a much bigger part, the part that runs a baking business from home with kids running around, that is very ready for it.

I made these cookies to help decorate a table for teachers at their starting day breakfast. I am so proud that our community does this where local businesses can show some love for teachers who deserve it all for everything they do.

The table I did was back to school themed and of course I made cookies, but to round out the gifts were coffee mugs with because if you give a teacher a cookie, they are going to want coffee.

The whole time I was making these cookies in my head I could only hear Billy Madison singing “Back to school” so thanks for that living rent free in my brain and thanks for the cookie cutter

We have had all the end of year things and between the abundance of holidays and chaos I got to make this summer set.

This was summer themed cookies for an orthodontist office. Loved how they turned out, but the summer is coming… brace yourself definitely felt like a horror movie trailer 🤷🏼‍♀️

Cookie boxing ASMR.

I got to do a Locally Grown baby shower set for a good friend and loved doing this cookie bucket list theme for someone so special.

Going to be trying out our own garden this year, so here’s hoping it is as plentiful as the cookie version.

In case you haven’t figured out what to get yet, in honor of all mothers everywhere, I’m doing a macarons flash sale.

Flavors will be:

Dark Chocolate Turtle Pecan

Cookies and Cream

*The cookies and cream is not gluten free but can be made GF upon request.

A 6 count box with two of each flavor will be $24 and a dozen of any one flavor is $45

Can’t see this cookie without thinking about this funny little story, so hopefully it can give you a laugh too…For a couple years in preschool, my daughter, Amelia had an “imaginary Grandma from Donut Planet” and she talked about her and donut planet all the time. We thought this was an imaginary place until one day, looking at picture of the solar system, Amelia said, “Look mom! It’s Donut Planet!” pointing at Saturn. I of course said “oh you mean Saturn?” To which she responded “Exactly. Donut Planet!”So in case you didn’t know, Saturn is obviously donut planet.
