Happy Tuesday y’all!! I know it has been such a long time... 5 months to be exact!! I greatly appreciate your patience while I took a leave from creative baking. While I am not ready to jump fully into caking again, I am SO EXCITED to say that I will be taking orders on again!!!!

I am now accepting very limited orders for June & July!!!

I will also begin booking weddings for the remainder of the year.

If you would like to inquire about placing an order or scheduling a wedding consult please send a message with the following information:
- Date of Event
- Type of Event
- Approximate Guest Count
- Include an order description & any inspiration photos

I hope to also fairly consistently post previous cakes in an attempt to get you all caught up on so many awesome orders I haven’t shared yet!

Effective immediately: I will no longer be taking orders for the foreseeable future. At this time, that could be a few weeks, months, or the remainder of the year. If you have placed an order prior to January 11th, those orders will be honored.

This decision was not made lightly, and I appreciate your understanding at this time. I need some time to focus on my kiddos, and to give myself a bit of a break. I have absolutely loved baking for you, and am so thankful for each follow & like!

If you’re in TR, run don’t walk to Roost Coffeehouse!!! you’ll find them at the entrance to Creekwalk tiny home community just off the Swamp rabbit Trail. They have a tiramisu latte that is absolutely delicious!! I got to meet the owners this morning and they are the sweetest!! Stop by and grab a coffee, you won’t be disappointed!

Hi everyone!!! Happy Friday!!! We’re going all the way back to November for this cake!! Rustic elegance shines (pun intended) in this simple ridged cake. The stunning florals were the perfect finishing touch! I absolutely love the soft lights and candles accenting the cake table. So beautiful!

Hey everyone!!! It has been SO long. I am so so sorry!!! I have missed you all!!! There has been SO much going on. Hopefully this post will get us all caught up while also giving some important information about the future…

Let’s start with a brief refresher!!!

For anyone who might be new… I’m Kristen! I’m the owner & sole creative baker at That Sweets Chick, LLC. I am married, and have 4 kiddos. I started this baking adventure almost 8 years ago, and it has been so wonderful!! I have loved baking since I was child. I love creating cakes for all occasions!! I love trying new designs, especially designs that challenge my abilities.

My favorite thing about making cakes are the connections I get to make!! I have been able to meet so many amazing people over the last several years.

Now, for an update!! Things have been CRAZY over here. While I’ve gotten SO behind in posting, I have been baking!! I have just had so much going on that social media has taken a backseat.

At the beginning of May, I accepted full time position outside of running my cake business. It has been a bit of an adjustment, and while I am scaling back quite a bit on the amount of orders I take each week, I AM still baking!!

My availability is very limited for the rest of the summer, and my fall calendar is filling up. Make sure you get your order requests in as soon as possible!!
