I’ve never loved introducing myself But I know it’s important, If you don’t already know me, to say a few things that will give you an idea who this person is behind the caramel apples 😉
* Ever since I was a kid myself, I LOVED kids & babies. I was always babysitting & playing with them. It turned into me working at daycares & being a nanny to lots of kids who are now having their own babies 😱
* I grew up being in dance classes & continued dancing throughout jr high & high school then was a dance teacher for a while after high school. I loved it & would love to be one again someday!
* I’ve always been taking pictures throughout my life. Way before cell phone cameras, I was using my hard earned babysitting money for disposable cameras & developing the film. I would display the pictures of me with friends & family in my room or always looking at them in my free time. It has always brought me joy! I’m still that way!
* When I was in 1st grade, my mom found me playing “school” every day after school. 😂 I was the teacher of course, but I would slip both my legs into one pant leg of a pair of biker shorts because if you didn’t already know, when you do this you instantly have a cute but suuuuuper tight skirt (with a tail flap thing in the back 😂 being the other pant leg) that to me was what teachers wore 🤷🏻♀️along with my moms high heels. Then I would turn rectangle laundry hampers upside down & tape paper labels to them indicating the invisible childrens assigned seats. I had an easel chalk board where I taught my lessons & of course they had recess where I would blow my whistle when they misbehaved or when it was time to come back inside. Good times! 🤣 (I do have almost half of my teaching degree & plan to go back and finish!)
* I didn’t really know how to cook or bake when I married my husband. Mostly everything I’ve made the past 15 years was self taught. If I want good food I gotta make it happen! Although my mom was the one to teach me her caramel recipe! We know you don’t skimp on that 😜
* I have the best and sweetest husband & 5 kids. They are so supportive of me & love to jump in to help whenever they can. They make my world go round & the biggest reason I love to share my cooking ❤️
