NEW SPECIALS ON DECK AT BELVIDERE BAGELS.

We’ve been playing around in the kitchen. Some new sandwiches, some new ideas, and a few that might just make the permanent menu.

POTATO STEVE — Crispy seasoned potatoes, fried egg, cheddar, bacon, salt, pepper, and ketchup. Bagel or Kaiser. A greasy spoon diner breakfast in sandwich form.

TRAVIS PASTRAMI — Pastrami, bodega-style egg, Swiss, pickled onions, and Dijon mayo. Bagel or Kaiser. A little different, a big boy, and it all works.

THE RACHEL — Smoked turkey, Lacey Swiss, Russian dressing, and coleslaw on a 12-inch seeded roll. Served cold. This thing crushes.

THE HOT MESS — Double smash, cheddar, bacon, jalapeños, zesty BBQ, and hot honey bacon cream cheese. The girls got a little reckless with this one. It’s already selling.

The girls in the back put a lot of work into getting this one right, and it came out awesome. Grab the Street Corn Cream Cheese on a bagel, add the Classic Street Corn as a side, or do both.

Thanks to everybody for the feedback on the new specials, and an even bigger thank you to everybody who came in and bought them. We appreciate the hell out of you over here at Belvidere Bagels.

You guys absolutely hammered us on the specials today — so much that we ran out of sauce.

Luckily, I snuck into Giacomo’s, and Sal hooked me up with enough sauce to get us back in business for tomorrow.

So tomorrow, we’ll be ready to rip all the specials again — Rick and Morty, the Meatball, and the rest of the lineup.

Apologies to the couple of you who couldn’t get what you wanted today. We didn’t have enough sauce left, and I wasn’t going to send a sandwich out without the right amount and have it not be the way it’s supposed to be.

We’ll be stocked up and ready to go tomorrow.

And we’re not slowing down. Next week, we’ve got new specials, new cream cheese flavors, and new sandwiches coming. We’re going to keep cranking out as much new stuff as we can.

THE MEATBALL
Three big meatballs deep-fried, smashed into the roll, then loaded with Giacomo’s house sauce, mozzarella, broccoli rabe, garlic, roasted red peppers & a few longhots snuck in for good measure.

RICK & MORTY
Two crispy chicken cutlets, pesto, balsamic glaze, fried Boar’s Head mortadella & creamy burrata on a toasted double-seeded 12-inch roll.

THE MONA LITZA
Boar’s Head pepperoni fried until crispy, fried egg & melted cheddar stacked on a toasted Asiago bagel. Simple, greasy, crispy and exactly what breakfast should be.

Thank you to everyone for being patient with us while we dealt with our heating and air conditioning issues. I’m happy to say it is officially fixed!

A huge thank you to our landlord and Apollo Unlimited for taking care of everything and getting us squared away. Also, thank you to Tony Gallo for the reference and for pointing us in the right direction.

I know there were days when it was way too hot in here and other days when it was way too cold. We truly appreciate everyone who continued to come in, support us, and stick with us while we worked through the problem.

We’re still a new business, and there are always going to be things we have to figure out along the way, but we got this one figured out. I’m definitely excited to finally be able to control the temperature in the building!

Thank you again for your patience and continued support of Belvidere Bagels. We appreciate you guys more than you know.

Last week was probably the busiest we’ve ever been. Saturday and Sunday, you guys absolutely destroyed us. We’ve been making more bagels, increasing our numbers, and somehow we still ran out on Sunday.

The good news — the new Hot Honey Pepperoni bagel sold really well, so that’s coming back again this week. We’re also working on a French Toast bagel, some new cream cheese flavors, and plenty of other things behind the scenes.

One of the biggest things we’re working on right now is WHOLESALE.

We’ve made some changes to our production and baking schedule that give us a much longer runway to produce, and we’re ready to drastically expand our wholesale business.

So we’re putting the word out.

If you own — or know somebody who owns — a coffee shop, sandwich shop, restaurant, café, market, or anywhere else that could move some Belvedere Bagels, please reach out.

And it’s not just bagels. We’re expanding our wholesale baked goods as well — cookies, muffins, specialty baked goods, and more.

If you know a business, restaurant, coffee shop, purveyor, or anybody you think Belvedere could work with, tag them, send them our way, or share this post. We’re looking to grow.

I appreciate you guys. We definitely felt the love last week, and we’re working hard to keep giving you more of what you want.

We’re just checking in and wanted to remind everyone that we’re now open Wednesday through Sunday, 6 AM–2 PM. We’re sticking with these hours, and it’s been awesome seeing so many of you taking advantage of the earlier mornings already. Thank you.

We’ve got a lot going on this weekend:

• Specialty breakfast sandwiches in the morning.
• Multiple hoagie specials for lunch.
• And we’re bringing back a fan favorite from the pop-up days…

The Local Stone Mike’s Hot Honey Pepperoni Bagel.

Made with pepperoni from the one and only Local Stone and finished with Mike’s Hot Honey, it’s the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and savory. It’s incredible with sweet cream cheese, and it also makes an unbelievable pizza bagel at home.

This is a limited run for the weekend. If you guys love it like you did before, we’ll keep it in the rotation. They usually disappear fast, so if you have your heart set on one, give us a call and we’ll do our best to hold it for you.

We’ve also been busy with some large catering orders. If you’re looking for breakfast or lunch catering for your office, job site, meeting, or event, that’s one of the things we do best. Reach out and we’ll get you taken care of.

And finally… if you know, you know.

The Belvedere Butcher is back up front on Saturday, running the coffee and holding down the front of the house. Stop in, say hello, grab a bagel, and kick off your weekend with us.

Appreciate everyone for welcoming us back this week. The new hours are already working, and it was awesome seeing so many of you come through on Sunday morning.

We’re officially here Wednesday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. If you want to beat the heat, skip the line, and enjoy a little peace and quiet before the rush, early morning is the time to stop in.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported our fundraiser this weekend. Because of you, it was a success, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Judging by the turnout, it’s pretty clear you all want more nighttime events. Don’t worry—we heard you. The plan is to do another one in August, and we’re kicking around something with Hot Dogs & High Life. We’ll have more details soon.

Until then, enjoy the next couple of days, and we’ll see you back at Belvidere Bagels on Wednesday at 6:00 AM.
