I love making cookies and bars the most, but cakes with a purpose and meaning I enjoy creating. A cohort member turns 40, and we'll be in class later today. He recounted during a prior class how he really enjoys camping and spending time with his family. Since we have to spend the evening in class and far from nature, I figured we'll bring camping (as close as we could) to you in the form of a deconstructed S'Mores Cake 🍫🏕

She certainly isn't the prettiest, but she was a delicious quick bake for celebrating the end of second semester in my PsyD program with the rest of our stats class. The quick, short-hand white chocolate equation is a dependent t-test, which was used in my mini dissertation. Our professor got quite the kick out of it. His wife ended up eating his slice, but he said the piece must have been the effect size since she said it was so good; flavorful and more light than expected for a cookie cake 🎂
