Orders close Wednesday nights at 8 PM for Friday’s porch pickup/Saturday at The Farmhouse Mercantile Gift Shop & then the bread process begins ✨

Once all orders are in, I begin the slow fermentation process by hand mixing the dough and letting it rise overnight. Thursday, each loaf is shaped before heading into a cold ferment until it’s baked fresh Friday morning. 🥖

Good sourdough takes time & that slow process is what creates the flavor, texture, and crust you know and love 🖤

What a day 🫶
I may have headed home without any sourdough goodies… but I definitely didn’t come home empty handed 😆 (Let’s just keep that between us and not tell the hubby.)

It was so nice finally putting names to faces, meeting new people, and feeling so much support. I’m incredibly thankful for every purchase, conversation, and smile today.
