Sunnyfield Brick Oven Bakery

Sunnyfield Brick Oven Bakery Peg Loughran created Sunnyfield Brick Oven Bakery to provide her family, friends, and community with wholesome, sustainable and tasty bread.

Sunnyfield Brick Oven Bakery sells bread retail at the Tamworth Bakery, 77 Main Street, and the Tamworth Farmers Market in Tamworth, NH and also around the state at coops and stores Sunnyfield’s bread is produced in a small bakery attached to Peg’s house in the tiny village of Wonalancet, New Hampshire on the southern edge of the White Mountain National Forest. The bread is distributed at the Tamw

orth Farmers Market, the Seacoast Winter Farmers Market, numerous area retail locations, and through Sunnyfield’s bread CSA. The bread is made primarily with natural leavening and whole grains grown in New Hampshire and Quebec. Peg and her assistant Allie rise before dawn to mix and shape the loaves by hand, give them a long, slow fermentation and bake them on the hearth of her wood-fired brick oven.

Hi Friends of Public EV Charging!

Please come drop by the Tamworth Energy Committee table at the July 4th Parade. We will have a canopy and table on the History Center lawn, be sharing information about the Tamworth Village EV Charging Project and inviting people to donate. Come by and say hi, talk to other folks about why you're excited to have public EV chargers in Tamworth, and pick up a patriotic bobble while you're at it!

The Tamworth Village EV Charging Project is VERY close to raising the funds needed. We are within $3,000 of our goal - So close! Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed. If you've pledged, or have been thinking about contributing, now is the time to send your check to the Town of Tamworth with a donation letter. (See attached info sheet and donation letter.) Our goal is to raise the full amount by July 10th so we can go before the Select Board on July 14th to get approval to purchase the equipment and contract with the installers.

We're thrilled to share that we recently got a $5,500 Challenge Grant from our friends at Green Wave EVs. In addition, five other businesses and organizations have generously supported the project as well as have 38 individuals and households. Everyone's support is deeply appreciated.

Please help us match the Challenge Grant by July 10th! If you're able, consider topping off your donation with a bit more. Or, can you encourage a friend, neighbor or family member to contribute to the project? Every donation gets us that much closer!

Contributions cover:

US-made charging station

Concrete pad and bollard

Electrical work and connections

Signage

Once we have raised the funds, and we're past all the July 4th hubbub, we'll be hosting a small gathering to celebrate the milestone and to properly thank everyone. So stay tuned for that!

Again, thank you for all you do and for your support in making our small community a welcoming place for cleaner transportation options.

And, last but not least, Taylor Whiteside will sing songs from his very rich repertoire sponsored by Homes by Wyatt. Thank you Wyatt!!
