After much thought and consideration I have decided take a pause with all business effective January 16, 2025 due to non-life threatening health concerns that I have been struggling with for a while now. I don't know when, or if, I will resume but I want to thank ALL of my customers for your business and support. It has been quite the journey and I have met some great people along the way. I have started another business called Get Charmed Co. and you can find me at local Tampa markets with that business as well as shop on my ecommerce site shortly. For those of you who have placed orders with me already I will be fulfilling your orders and you can still get in touch with me as needed.

Just back from our macaron trip to Paris, London, and Rome and going through all my photos!

On our first full day in Paris we stopped by the original Ladurée shop and tea room built in 1862, it was here that the Parisian macaron was born in 1930. The tea room is lovely with its green upholstery and original hand painted ceiling, and the macarons were delicious!

On the Eurostar from Paris to London Jamie and shared 10 macarons that we got from a really cool market that housed many chocolatiers and patisseries, and 2 of the ones we made. We got two macarons from Pierre Marcolini and 8 from Pierre Hermé at the market. The ones we made and tried were raspberry and yuzu, they were great. The Hermé macarons were so unique and Jamie and I ranked which ones we liked the most out of these:

- Marron Glacé & Blackcurrant
- Eglantine, Fig & Foie Gras
- Pure Origin Brazilian Dark Chocolate
- Rose, Litchi & Raspberry
- Milk Chocolate & Passion Fruit
- Lemon & Pumpkin Seed Praline
- Avocado & Grapefruit
- Gingerbread & Caramel

It’s been a year in the making, Jamie and I are on a three stop macaron research European tour and our first to stop was Paris! I already know the French and Swiss methods of baking macarons and thought it would be a great idea to learn the Italian method in Paris. Might sound funny that I’m learning the Italian method in France but it has a stronger meringue and you can have better more consistent results. Jamie has tasted every macaron flavor I’ve made but has never made them himself until today. He’s a natural 😍 I looked at all different classes that were offered all over Paris and found Kanika and Vouthy’s class at and I am so thankful for the instruction and fun atmosphere 🇫🇷🎉 Next stop is London and Rome.
