It has been an amazing eleven and a half years. When I first started my business, I had no idea where it would take me. It began with a farmers market, which allowed me to meet potential customers and get the word out about my new venture. It was an exciting time, which eventually led to advertising on The Knot and other wedding websites, a Groupon stint, and local bridal shows. Soon it turned into dozens of wedding orders per year and even larger corporate events. I have met so many of you, and you all have been supporting me along the way. You, my customers and friends, have made all of this possible. And I cannot thank you all enough.
After much thought and consideration, I have decided that it is time to officially close Cake Kisses. There were many factors that went into this decision, but ultimately it is a choice to make my life look a little different and to be more mindful of the everyday moments that make life so special. As some of you know, I am also a mental health therapist and own a private practice in the area. Both Cake Kisses and my counseling practice have become thriving businesses, and itโs become difficult to manage both, resulting in me having to choose one business to devote all of my energy to.
I have several weddings and events already scheduled for the remainder of 2022 and 2023, but will not be taking any new orders moving forward.
Again, I want to thank all of you for your support through these years. It has been my pleasure serving you cake balls years after year.
