We are a Bakery and Coffee Shop. We serve a large variety of fresh hand cut donuts and bakery items including fried pies and creme horns and we also have decorated cakes. 90 % of our fillings , frostings and icings are all made from scratch also. 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday . Saturday is 6 a.m to 1 p.m.

My Dear Oscar's Donut friends and family. Today is the day, we lay to rest our dear sweet wife, mama, memaw, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. This is a a very sad day for us all. One of the toughest we've experienced yet as a family. How do you say good bye to such a loving, amazing, friendly, warm, caring person. You couldn't help but love her.... we could all use some prayers and thoughts. Especially my sister, her family, our Oscar's friends and family and please some for my family... she was so much more to us then anyone knows... so please u can pray for all.of us... thank you,

Please keep the Oscar's family in your prayers. As of last evening we lost a huge part of our family. We lost the matriarch. Lanette Witcher Daniels went to her heavenly home after an extremely hard and long battle with cancer. Our hearts are broken. Please continue to pray for her family in the days and weeks to come. Her husband, daughter and other children, even all of us she adopted. When further arrangements are made I will post here. Please pray for this family and the hearts of the lives of the people she touched. Rest easy mama/memaw your suffering is done...

This is not the message we wanted to post. We had hoped to be open by next week but that's not going to happen. So as of now, reopening has been put on indefinite hold. We have no idea at this point and time when we can . Life and bills get in the way and we have to temporarily go in another direction to handle it.
We are so sorry. We still hope to reopen someday. We just don't know when that someday will be. God bless you all. We still covet your prayers.

Update: Thank you for the prayers. She's currently home but is supposed to stay off the foot which is nowhere near healed.
We had a heart to heart and we have decided it's best to let God take the lead from here on out. First, she's got to get healthy. Her diabetes is out of control, mainly due the all the stress, staying so busy she can't eat properly if at all.
We will reopen. We have always felt the bakery is part of our ministry and what He wants her to do.
But as of now, we have no idea when. It could take three months or three years ( we pray not) but it is our plan and believe it's His. We just are going to trust His timing.
Please forgive me if this is too personal but we consider our customers a family extension and family deserves explanation.

Hey everyone. It's been awhile since we've posted but we wanted yall to know where we are at with reopening.
Due to circumstances way beyond our control, we are no longer trying for any certain date. We still intend to eventually reopen, but we have no idea when.
Many of you know Marie has been taking care of me and her Dad due to health reasons ( I have 4 th stage cancer and her dad has a multitude of issues). On top of caring for us she has worked on repairing the roof damage at the shop. Now we have to get the interior done. She's been helping some family in their business to try and raise funds for that. All this has taken a toll on her health , as she is a diabetic and until less than a month ago, had been without insurance and some of her meds. She suffered an injury to her foot last week and last night she was put in the hospital because of it. She's on the highest high powered antibiotic they can give her and it's touchy for her kidneys.
So, we would appreciate a prayer or two for her to get well quick. After that, we will proceed as we can, it's just going to be awhile. We have to get her healthy again.

Hello my Facebook family. so just wanted to give you an update about when we're going to be reopening and what's going on with the shop. We were hoping to open by Easter. We however will not be opening by Easter due to the fact that we've just run into a few snags. We have gotten part of the roof done and that part's not leaking. Thank you Lord. We're trying to get as much done as possible as quickly as possible. ( There's only two of us!) So we can get open as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and your support and we hope to see you all very soon.

hi everyone we just wanted to let you know We did take the sign down out from out front of the shop. That is because it has a slight tear and I need to repair that and clean it before we put it back up. It is not a sign that we're closing. We are starting to work on time to get the stuff done so we can get open as soon as possible we thank you for your support and appreciate everything y'all are doing for us and praying for us. Maybe I'll have a blessed week and pray we will be able to open soon

just a quick couple of updates everyone.

1. We are working on a new menu on what we will have and what will be available when we reopen with prices as soon as we have that done we will post it.

2. I am aware of the fact that the number that we had for the shop when we closed is no longer working. It does belong to another gentleman. Currently. Please do not call it you can text me at 404-620-9391 with any questions comments are needing of information. I will let you know if you can call me on the number depending on where I'm at at that moment. Please do not place an order at any number you call unless you talk to Sonya Heather or Lanette. do not place an order for our shop currently unless you have talked to one of us three. And at this time we are not taking any orders.

3. as soon as we have a new phone number and an update on an exact date of opening we will let y'all know.

we were hoping to get reopened up by Valentine's day this year. However that will not be happening to the looks of it and it may be closer to Easter before we open. We will keep an update.We hope you all have a blessed and happy day.

Someone else has our old bouncer right now. We are still working on the shop trying to get it back open. Some family things have come up delaying what we need to do. We still do plan on reopening. Many have suggested we do a fund raiser such as gofundme to help raise the funds we need for replacing the roof. This was very hard for us but we have begun two, one on Facebook and one in gofundme. We would appreciate it if you see either account to please share and also to pray we receive enough to fix it. We really want to get reopened.

For those asking about the health issues, I ( Lanette) will begin some treatments to hopefully give me a shot at another couple of years. Personally, I believe God alone is in charge of that, but I'm doing it to help relieve stress off my family. Other than my ribs seem to like breaking, I'm in pretty good health according to recent tests but I tire quickly. I sure have appreciated your prayers. God bless

Hi! We just want y'all to know that no matter what you hear or see posted elsewhere, we have NOT permanently closed. Yes, we still have issues with the roof and health but as of now, we fully intend to reopen. We just can't say when. UNLESS WE post we will not reopen, don't believe it said or posted elsewhere.
We have tried to get the loans for small businesses. First time we got zero response. Second round..even though they were supposed to review waiting apps first, we were sent a message they were now concentrating on larger businesses.
We are searching all avenues. We deeply appreciate your patience and your loyalty.

Just a tad over two hours to go today and we still have a decent variety left. Glazed, chocolate frosted, vanilla Angel creme and chocolate Angel creme, a few assorted cake donuts, donut holes of all kinds, twists, cinnamon rolls, butterflies, Kelly's and more. Lots of cookies too. Y'all come on and get your sweet on!

UPDATE. Due to some issues we will be opening g late tomorrow around 8 am. We may also have to close early. We will keep you updates.
Update: We will close today around noon. We will be closed all day Thursday. We will be open all day Friday (6-6) and Sat. Until noon.
We are sorry for the inconvenience but we are doing the best we can under the circumstances.

A reminder we are open Friday and Saturday. Friday is 6-6 and this Sat. Only, 6-2.
Also, we have had to increase prices. We will post all donut and pastry prices later today.
Glazed are $.85 each, $8.50 doz. , all other donuts are $.95 , $9.50 a doz, ( 6 th and 12 th, still free) fancies, danish, turnovers and creme horns are $1.50 each.
There are a few other increases we will post later .

I hate having to make this post. Even though part of the roof is repaired, these heavy rains are causing serious damage to other parts of the roof and the interior from the leaks. So we won't be able to open Weds. or Thurs. because of rain and leaks.
We will be open Friday 6-6 and Sat. 6-2 ( a little later than usual because we can't open as planned).

Hopefully next week will be better but we are trying.

We will be having items for Valentine's Day Friday and feel free to place orders .

Radiation is done. There are some painful side effects including pain in entire esophagus and ribs. It will take a few weeks before it completely goes away.
Rain has been our biggest enemy in getting the roof fixed. Hopefully it will stay dry long enough this week to at least get the major leaks done so we can start tackling interior repair.
Still shooting for the first Weds. In February if not earlier to reopen, God willing. Thank all of you for your understanding, prayers and good wishes.

We have some news we wanted to tell you so you hear it straight from us. Due to several issues , we will not reopen in January as we usually do after Christmas break. But we will reopen.
As some know, My mother Lanette has been diagnosed with cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment but starting Dec. 30 th, she will begin radiation treatment on her spine. We also have a severe leak problem in our roof in the back room. We can not continue to operate our business until it is fixed, which we've been trying to do for months with no success. Hopefully, we will have that resolved in the next 30 days.
We hope to be closed no longer than January but that really depends on the roof.
NO MATTER WHAT YOU HEAR, and rumors are already spreading faster than fire in windstorm, we ARE NOT planning to permanently close.
When we do reopen, unfortunately, we will have significantly raised prices. This is something we must do to remain in business.
We hope you understand and we appreciate any prayers during this time.
If Anything Changes, I will post it on here and on my front door at the bakery.
