Listening: Please read about this wonderful black momtrepreneur I have been mentoring and coaching.
Most of you know that I had my own Lactation Cookie business. In the world of entrepreneurship, it was a steppingstone to my passion of professional organization and home decor.
Within a day of posting that I was closing that business to focus on , Tiffany and I cross messaged each other. I was excited to have another local mom starting her very own local lactation cookie business.
In my message I asked if she would want extra recipes. And in her message she was asking for any tips on social media and progressing. I absolutely said yes!
Over the past month or so, I have been helping her grow her business and coaching her (there’s a lot of work for a start up!). On Monday we met up and she gave me samples AND we embraced. Tiffany is a beautiful black momtrepreneur. Her goals and her value and mission statement for her business are refreshing and genuine.
Her number one priority is to help local moms feed those sweet babies. ❤️
When she expressed to me that she was worried that people might not purchase from her because of her skin color and because she had taken her twists out... my heart broke. And I said that I would be her NUMBER ONE advocate. She matters to me. Her business matters. Her voice matters. ❤️🍪
