Well, it's a designation granted by the Florida Legislature that allows home cooks to sell products that are made in their home kitchen. However, part of that means that we can't sell anything that requires refrigeration, like cream cheese or whipped cream icings. These restrictions just mean that we get to be more creative! I'm currently looking for alternatives to cream cheese frosting that don'

t require refrigeration and I'll definitely post an update at that time. What goes into Aunt Cake's cupcakes? All of Aunt Cake's cupcakes and frostings are made from scratch. That means no mixes, no surprises and lots of love. We love experimenting with some new flavors and look forward to offering up something different for our customers. How much are Aunt Cake's cupcakes? Under the "Notes" section of my page you can find a post that contains our prices. We will be updating that note as certain flavors are added or removed (depending on the season). How can I get some cupcakes? This strawberry sauce is magical and I’d love to share the recipe! It’s simple and so versatile; we always have some in the freezer to use on ice cream, waffles, or in our strawberry frosting 🍓🎂. This isn’t an original recipe, but I’ve been using it so long I’ve forgotten where I found it! Apologies to the author.

Ingredients: 12 oz fresh strawberries (sliced), 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch, 2 Tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 Tbsp butter, dash of salt

Place berries, cornstarch, lemon juice, & sugar in small sauce pan and stir with whisk. Bring mixture to boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly. Continue to stir while boiling for 2 minutes. Remove from heat & add butter and salt. Enjoy!
