Burkett ladies in Tallahassee, Addie, Pam, and Jacklyn-are here for your dessert needs. It all started in the kitchen of their own homes. Addie specializes in delicious sweet potato pies and sweet potato bread. Pam specializes in amazing key lime pies and tarts, and Jacklyn is known for baking up cheesecakes, and cheesecake cookies/bites of many flavors to choose.

Getting mad because you prepared for the worst and didn't get it=NASTY work.
Poking fun at people who prepared, but didn't get affected by the storm=NASTY work.
Being mad that the linemen are not on your street to restore utilities right away because restoration doesn't come easy=NASTY work.
The areas that surround us such as Valdosta, Keaton Beach, and Steinhatchee, would LOVE to have our 'problems' right now. Homes and well-known establishments are destroyed.

We made it! We made it through the storm. No, we didn't get the catastrophic weather we were expecting here in Tallahassee. There are a few road closures and downed power lines, but we are OKAY!! Yes, we may have 'overprepared,' but it's better to prepare than not to have prepared at all. We are blessed.
