Meet Aubrey, your new favorite pastry chef :

Aubrey has worked in a kitchen since she was a freshman in high school, where she attended the the Jacobson Culinary Arts Academy. Not only did she crush it in class, get her ProStart Certification, and work part time helping to run a local cupcake shop, but she also took home first place in the Florida ProStart Competition in her individual category!

Following high school, she attended Johnson & Wales University's College of Culinary Arts (Miami). At this time, Aubrey secured a internship at the prestigious Don Cesar, in St. At the end of her internship she received great praise, and an offer of employment... but turned down the offer to pursue further education. Aubrey then made her way up to FSU, where she received a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management. It was during this time, Aubrey was introduce to The Dedman School of Hospitality's Little Dinner Series (LDS). If you aren't familiar with LDS, I would encourage you to look into it, because it is AMAZING. Every year FSU students and instructors work together to create a series of four-course themed dinners open to the public. Aubrey's talent was quickly realized by dinner series' leadership, and she was brought onto the team! She has been working with students for the past two years to bring their menu's to the next level, especially their desserts!
.. and then BAM , COVID hits. You can't teach culinary arts over Zoom, and you can't host dinner parties when venues/ schools are shut down. Although Aubrey's 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 37 houseplants enjoyed her being home all day, every day, she missed being in the kitchen and sharing the joy that comes with serving others her culinary masterpieces... oh and bills, they still had to be paid. This is when I, Aubrey's cool ass older sister, decided to post some of her culinary creations on Facebook Marketplace. Turns out I am not the only one who thinks she is wicked talented. We have had a great response from the community, and really hope to grow this into something more.
