It’s that time of year again - seasonal buns with ingredients that grow locally on farms that bring their produce right to Tacoma and more specifically to the ! It’s kind of magical and makes us feel more connected to the growing season and to the farmers who work this land.
Although we continuously try to source local ingredients throughout the year, we are excited to be using local rhubarb and strawberries for our buns over the next several weeks. We hope to add a new fruit bun this summer as well- maybe using plums, peaches and/or raspberries. Any ideas?? (Take the poll!)
For now we hope you enjoy the rhubarb custard buns and the strawberry vanilla buns. Such a fun time of year at the market!
