🚦 Traffic Safety Review Update 🚦

In response to traffic safety concerns along Highway 50, the City of Syracuse submitted a request to the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) for a traffic safety review at the end of April 2026.

NDOT has confirmed that the request will be reviewed in coordination with the upcoming Highway 50 project (CN 13478). As part of that effort, NDOT's Traffic Analysis Section will also evaluate the segment near the N-2/N-50 interchange.

The City appreciates the community's continued feedback and will share updates as more information becomes available.
