Spotted Dog Bakery We’re a small home bakery offering sourdough bagels, breads, and more! Made by hand in small batches with locally sourced ingredients.

Weekend Farmstand located in Swanton!

*Made in a home kitchen not inspected by the Vermont Department of Health* At Spotted Dog, our newfound obsession is sourdough bagels. Our process begins with carefully selecting the finest locally sourced flours and grains, ensuring that each ingredient is of the highest quality. We embrace the art of natural fermentation, allowing our dough to develop its rich, nuanced flavors over time. Each bagel is shaped by hand, a labor of love that guarantees individuality and character in every bite. The magic continues as they are boiled and then baked to perfection, creating a delightful contrast between the crisp, golden exterior and the satisfyingly chewy center. Whether enjoyed plain or with your favorite inclusions, our sourdough bagels promise an unforgettable taste experience that embodies our passion and commitment to craftsmanship.

BIG NEWS!!

Nora would like to report that the bakery will soon be back up and operating!

Although we’ve been off the radar for months - we have not forgot about our amazing patrons!

During our closure we bought our first home and have been working endlessly to make it ours through renovations and upgrades. While I can’t share photos yet, I am excited to say that we have an entire room dedicated exclusively to Spotted Dog Bakery.

Our projected reopening is mid September. This is for orders only. If things change we will keep everyone updated.

While we would love to get the farm stand up and running again, it will have to wait until later in the fall.

We are very excited to get the oven heated up and the goodies out the door! 👨🏼‍🍳🐶

As a thank you for everyone’s patience and continued support, there will be a giveaway - more information to come on that.

Thank you!
