New Barn Part 10

More prep work. This fabric should help keep rocks in place and in turn keep things level. My goal is to do as much as possible to make sure the barn doesn’t have any issues on the future. Especially water infiltration!
Keeping the stones in place should help with that.

New Barn Part 8

Marking out the final location for the base of the barn!!! They got the top soil dug so that we can get ready for limestone!

This project has been bouncing around in my head for a loooonnnngggg time so I’m absolutely thrilled to see it coming to life! Looking forward to having a horse at our house, maybe a mini donkey and whatever 4-h animals they kids want to try. 😊

Herd bound, buddy sour, barn sour.

These type of horses can be tough. But that is something that they can overcome.

This one has come a long way from a year ago on handling being apart from her pasture mate. Lots of patience and consistency has helped tremendously!

Last year I can remember taking almost half an hour to go from the arena to the stall where her buddy was just to make sure we arrived in a calm state. No throwing a fit and rushing back to friends! She is smart and catches on quickly though!

If you’ve been to a world show before or a larger horse show what do you like about them?

Next month I’ll be at the NOHSA world show! I won’t be showing but I’ll be making custom photo magnets and taking in all of the awesomeness!!!

A world show is an excellent goal to have. They are so much fun! Next level of excitement and energy!
