Today marks one year since my Dad gained his wings. ❤️ This week has been especially hard.

My Dad loved my candy, especially peanut brittle and hard candy. Fittingly, my love for making candy has become such a special part of Baird Avenue Bakery. Even my cashew brittle came into existence during his transition.

Every peanut patty, every piece of toffee, and every treat I make that he loved brings me a little closer to him. ❤️

Dad, I miss you more than words can say. I hope you’re proud of me and Mom. We love you forever. 🕊️❤️
