Hello Friends, this is a long post so if you are like me and don't want all the added words... We are CLOSING our brick and mortar doors. We will be open FOR THE LAST TIME, in our current location this weekend. Our hours will be 11AM to 3 PM,BOTH DAYS.
We have enjoyed the great people and friends we have been able to meet and maintain over the last 3 years but have come to the conclusion that we can no longer financially support this store. The rent has increased significantly over the last 6 months as well as our product cost. The availability of our products, from CHINA, have become increasingly difficult to get and the overall stress of attempting to run a business in the current business climate is too much for us.
We are going completely mobile and plan to have things up and running by December 1, 2023. We will do some pop ups and special delivery days to test out our new systems and work out any kinks. We would love to be invited to your group gatherings/parties and events !! Our minimum order will likely be 5 drinks to have delivered to one commercial location. So, if you and your friends would like to have BOBA at home , we can meet you almost anywhere commercial to deliver. For our parties and festivals, of course we will come directly to you with no additional cost, provided you meet the minimum requirements for events (not determined yet) We look forward to meeting up with you all again. STAY TUNED for our new business adventures as they unfold.

Hello Tiki Framily, we are desperately trying to get cleaned up and back open from the work we’ve recently had done, due to a machine malfunction. We will keep the page updated, however we anticipate being able to open tomorrow Sunday July 12, 2020 at 1pm. Fortunately, our contractors were gracious enough to come in on the weekend, at a moments notice to help us fix the problem. We also are expanding/ improving the outdoor seating area and putting in a walk up window. We hope you all will continue to support our efforts to serve excellent quality while maintaining the upmost safety for ourselves and you, the customer. See ya soon !

Hello Out There !! Today is May 22,2020 and things are starting to open up a little. We are able to allow people to come inside and order, however you have to wear a mask. If you don’t have one, we will gladly take your order outside or by phone or online. We understand they are no longer mandatory, however we would like to minimize the risk to ourselves and you by taking any reasonable precaution of safety. While we are aware that some of you simply refuse to wear them, we as a locally owned and family operated business choose to continue this practice as “best practice.” We also have seen the majority of our Tiki Turtle Framily love us enough to help us feel safe, THANK YOU. Like many other businesses our capacity is roughly 50 % , that allows us around 5- 8 people :) therefore we will allow masked people to come inside to order and EVERYONE to utilize the wonderful new addition of our outdoor seating to enjoy your treats. We are committed to being a safe as possible, this includes our joining in the,” Count on Me NC, “ initiative as a part of the NCRLA ( NC Restaurant & Lodging Association.) Although this is an extra step in training for us, we value the ability to stay ahead of the curve of new information and safeguard measures. We will continue to rotate our menu items and hopefully blow your socks off with our commitment to your taste buds. Check out the increased BOBA milk Tea menu and our seasonal homemade ice creams. Update: April 10, 2020, WOW what a difference 2 weeks makes. First, thank you to all who continue to support us, not only in person and purchases, but through messages and thoughts. We are currently opening on SATURDAYS ONLY ( 12-6) with curbside pick up only. We make this super easy, you don’t even get out of your car, we bring it to ya. Our online site is active during business hours only. If you would like to order ahead, please feel free to send us a message through FB and we will send a confirmation for your order back. It will be ready for pick up at your specified time on SATURDAY ONLY. Please, do not order cones ( we’ll put them in the bag ) or excessive toppings as these are difficult to have ready for pick up. Update : March 25, 2020 “ CORONACATION.” CURBSIDE PICK UP ONLY is in effect. Thank you for bearing with us as we closed in order to ensure we were as safe as possible and able to providing a service in compliance with the guidance and recommendations given to us. We will attempt to stay open as long as possible, with the revolving changes and recommendations given by our government for health and safety. We are a small family run business, which allows us to closely monitor ALL of the people involved in your order. We are all operating in new territory, so please be patient as we work through kinks and snaffooos. SEE YA AT THE CURB.

3/8/20 : WELCOME BACK friends and framily. Our hours are updated and should remain pretty consistent barring any “ Life Changes. “ Our new sign should be hung this week and we will finally be officially open for business after our ribbon cutting ceremony on March 21 st. We’re having a birthday party for ourselves, details are posted under events. Our newest addition to the menu is certainly our new most popular. BOBA MILK TEA is a “ thing.” WE will try out many different flavors before we decide which ones to keep. We also are experimenting with different flavors of homemade ice cream to develop additional flavors to add to our staple menu as well. We are also encouraging our customers to utilize our message or call ahead ordering in an effort to keep each other safe and germ free. It is coupled with our curb side pick up and is only available for card purchases only and during flu season. Due to use being a small family run business, we recognize the convenience of not having to unload the family to eat ice cream, but your tummy steal needs homemade goodness. As most of you have seen, we are moving right along. We have been unofficially open for about 2 months and we LOVE the new location for sure. We will post our Spring hours soon so you will know when to catch us. Our Summer hours will likely be the same with the extensions on Friday or Saturday night. UPDATE: WOW what a difference a year makes ! We are in a whole new location and we love it. Although we loved being on the island, we outgrew our old home very quickly and have upgraded to a fabulous spot on the Mainland between Chug and Grub and Surf City BBQ. YEP in the same parking lot with Camino Real, Shuckin’ Shack and Michelangelo's Pizza, HOW LUCKY ARE WE??? We are so excited to now be able to offer so much more on our menu as well as indoor lounge and outdoor table seating. We are still working out some small kinks but for the most part are up and running. We now offer a full line of BOBA MILK TEAs. Anyone who knows us, knows we love exotic drinks and trying new things. We also have coffee and Lattes too. REMEMBER, we are not a coffee shop and DO NOT WANT TO BE. We’ll likely not draw cool figures in your froth or add a billion ingredients to change the flavor completely, just plain old GOOD COFFEE. Our Latte’s and Boba are a completely different story. We will knock your socks off with our flavors and additions to this line. You have to come in to see what we can do, you won’t be sorry. We've also been fortunate to add a line of Keto friendly products ( backed by Rebel ) that are as delicious as our Dairy Free line ( Ben and Jerry’s. ) Our increased line of homemade whip creams go extremely well with our every changing seasonal flavors of Homemade Ice Creams. We’ll try to do better at updating this part of our social media presence, Feel free to stop by or give us a call. We’d love to see ya and show you what we can do. As always, we continue to be a small family owned and operated business that absolutely loves our home.
