Blantons is about as close to me as Spider-Man has become in the baking world 😂
But, one thing I’m proud of is I believe working with buttercream is waaaay less forgiving and in the past I’ve done so much fondant work because it holds and molds to whatever shape you create (sometimes lol). Lately I’ve tried to really get better at buttercream sculpting. This is all just hand textures with paintbrushes, and palette knives and then airbrushed.

Each individual feather is hand made in several different peices and hand carved and painted. The paisley design is all freehand.

I have to say this didn’t turn out as I expected and I was very disappointed in myself but it was a reminder that there is still much to learn after many years and there is always room to grow and to allow for mistakes.

Fun March Madness order 🏀 Ended the day after this order by watching The Last Dance👌🏼
