The West Virginia Farmstand Trail is almost here! Join us Saturday, October 24th, for a day of exploring local farmstands, shopping small, and supporting West Virginia farmers and makers!

Pick up your Farmstand Trail Passport at a participating location and collect a stamp or sticker at each stop!

Three weeks to go until the West Virginia Farmstand Trail on Saturday, October 24!

It’s a day to explore local farmstands, meet the folks behind them, and discover fresh produce, baked goods, honey, handmade items, and new favorite treats. Every stop has something different to offer!

We’ll share participating farmstands and their addresses so you can plan your route. Visit a few nearby or make a day of it with friends and family. Bring a cooler, a shopping bag, and a little room for dessert!

Some stops will have special sales, and some farmstand owners will be dressed up and passing out candy to the kids. Adults might get a treat, too!

Gather your crew, take the scenic route, and see what’s waiting just down the road. You might find your new favorite cookie, a gift for someone special, or a farmstand you’ll keep coming back to.

Did you know?? Farmstands were getting attention long before social media! In 1936, USDA described one as a simple table on the lawn selling extra garden produce.

Ninety years later, we’re still stopping for fresh, local goodness. Here in West Virginia, being a friendly neighbor goes well beyond the farmstand!
