This is the first order I have honestly felt like doing since losing my Dad in November. I almost turned it down. Now I wish I would have. I have been doing cookies for well over 10 years and I have never had my confidence destroyed by a single person......until now. These cookies were a special request from someone (let’s call her Karen) for a 60th birthday. I spent a whole lot of hours on these cookies for Karen to tell me that they were very “underwhelming” and that the whiskey glass was on nothing but a square cookie and that she did not pay for a “printed cookie” AND she felt overcharged. I can assure you that non of my cookies are printed. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But when you spend hours on an order and take great pride in your work, that is very offensive. Be nice with your words people, you never know what a person is going through on the receiving end.
