••A LITTLE COMMUNITY LOVE••

We’ve seen the news that another coffee shop will be joining us right here on our little stretch of road — which means we’ll soon have THREE coffee shops within walking distance of one another! ☕️

And honestly? We think that’s pretty cool. 🫶🏻

We know it can be easy to look at that and think, “Wow… that’s a lot of coffee shops!” 😂 But we truly believe there are enough wonderful people in our community to support all of us.

The Shivering Shack, Sugar & Spice, and our newest neighbor will each have our own personalities, our own things we love to offer, and eventually our own amazing customer bases. There’s room for all of us. 🤭

I know myself and the owner of Sugar & Spice have already made an effort to visit and support one another. Life gets busy, and sometimes we can’t always make it into each other’s shops — but the kindness and support is there, and that’s what matters.🙌🏻

At the end of the day, we’re all small businesses putting our hearts, time, money, and LOTS of hard work into our little shops. We’re aware of one another, we respect one another, and we genuinely want to see each other succeed.

So let’s keep this community exactly that — a COMMUNITY. ❤️

Support who you can, when you can. Try somewhere new. Visit your favorites. Grab a coffee, a snowcone, a book, some food… whatever sounds good that day! 😂

And most importantly, let’s continue to be kind, supportive, and respectful to ALL of our local businesses.

The reason we decided to open at 7 was specifically for you and then we recently realized opening at 7 still doesn’t give some of you enough time when you have to be at school by 7:15 or 7:30 😅

So we thought we would see if you’d be interested in a “Before the Bell” preorder pickup?

You’d order your canned coffee (or other beverage) the day before and we’d have it cold, labeled, paid for, and ready to grab before we officially open. No waiting in line, just grab it and go! It’s typically $1 more for a can, but not for this! 🥰

We could also have a few easy breakfast add-ons like muffins, cinnamon rolls or bagels available.
