Burgundy and a soft blue were the colors for this bridal shower cookie set and touches of floral and edible gold were just what the customer wanted.

I'll be honest, I wasn't so sure about that color combo at first but with the ivory base color also, I love how they turned out!

🗓️ Hey there! Turns out yesterday was National Homemade Cookies Day but it's always a good time to enjoy a homemade cookie don't you think? My cookies may not look homemade but they are made from my home!

🏠 Thankfully, Texas has pretty easy-to-work with cottage home food laws (fancy phrase for “baked from a home kitchen”).

🤗Not only are they an extra special way to show your love for special celebrations, I love being able to be creative and make something that tastes as good as it looks!

🧡 Big thanks to everyone who trusts me and my home for their homemade decorated sugar cookies!

How sweet are these lemonade themed cookies for a special 15-year-old's birthday? 🎂

🍋These are MINI vanilla sugar cookies! And I just love the colors mom suggested for the theme -- soft pink and soft yellow.

Mini cookies are a budget friendly option that I offer that still add a bit of sweet fun to the celebration. Which design is your favorite?

⚾Word is the Houston Astros are ranked number one in the American League West so I figured why not share these fun baseball themed cake pops?

They were part of the same order as the baseball themed set I shared recently that I made for a corporate order and client thank you event. A mixture of chocolate and vanilla flavored cake pops to make the evening even more special! 💫

⚾ Where are my baseball fans? I know the Houston Astros are possibly heading to the playoffs for their division but I wanted to share these baseball themed cookies I made this past spring for a corporate order who treated their clients to a baseball game with our local minor league team, the Space Cowboys.

Baseball themed and logo cookies for a fun and delicious way to say thank you for your business!

👀I figured since it's later on a Saturday night, I'd share a set I did a few months ago that's maybe on the spicy side for some, hence the many photos to swipe through to get to the actual photo of the cookies I made.

Y'all, when I say cookies are for ANY occasion, I'm not kidding! Such a creative way to say thank you!

I am NOW BOOKING your custom cookie and/or cake ball orders for September, October and early November!

📅 My personal schedule this fall is already looking pretty busy so don't wait too long to book your orders as I may have to limit orders on certain weeks. And I've already been booking orders for September so planning ahead when you can is best!

🎉 If you've got birthdays, anniversaries, baby or wedding showers, corporate parties, girls' trips or just because occasions, be sure to get your order requests in ASAP as my calendar will fill quickly!

Place your Order Quote Request Here: https://www.mycustombakes.com/sweetbeesbakebox

➡️ A Note About Dates: When you place your order quote via my website, it will have available dates open. If the date you are looking for does not show as available, that means it has already been fully booked or I am not available due to a personal conflict. I can often take multiple orders for the same dates but it depends on the quantity and complexity of the designs requested. Feel free to email/message me first if you have questions!

✨ Getting back on track a bit to share some behind-the-scenes looks at what it takes to have a cookie and cake pop business!

Here is a bulk batch of royal icing that I make in my Bosch mixer. It can hold up to 6.5 quarts (or 26 cups!) at a time. I usually make a triple batch of my icing recipe but sometimes I'll make a quadruple batch! 😲

It mixes up super stiff (like toothpaste or a little stiffer) and then I use water to thin it to different consistencies depending on what I need to make -- florals, writing, flood, etc. I also color it before I start thinning it so that I can divide it up as needed but I want the same color (like thicker for writing but then thinned out for a flood/base color icing). 🌈

I'd love to answer your questions if you have them so let me know in the comments below!

👰 🥂 How fun is this Bridal Brunch cookie set? The color and design inspiration was florals in shades of pink with a touch of orange that went along with the theme of the wedding.

The customer loved them! 🎉 Which one is your favorite?

💛 I really had fun coming up with ideas for this one--I shared them at an annual family gathering last July!
