chocolate dachshund treats using Twix, Hershey’s Kisses, and Tootsie Rolls.

Chocolate Dachshund Treats
What you need
Twix bars
Hershey’s Kisses
Tootsie Rolls
Candy eyes
Pink heart sprinkles or small pink candy bows
Melted chocolate or decorating icing, for sticking pieces together
How to make them

1. Make the body
Use 1 Twix bar as the long dog body.

2. Add the head
Attach 1 Hershey’s Kiss to one end of the Twix using a little melted chocolate or icing.

3. Make the ears
Soften a Tootsie Roll slightly with your hands.
Roll and flatten small pieces, then shape 2 floppy ears and stick them to the sides of the Kiss.

4. Add the legs
Use tiny pieces of Tootsie Roll to make 4 little legs under the Twix.

5. Make the tail
Roll a thin strip of Tootsie Roll and attach it to the back of the Twix.

6. Add the face
Stick on 2 candy eyes.
Use a tiny dot of chocolate or icing for the nose.

7. Decorate the top
Place pink heart sprinkles or a small candy decoration on top of the head for a sweet bow look.
