Hej Igen!
It's been a minute but I needed to lock in to get this bakery open! Now that is is, I wanted to reach out and thank you for your support as we navigate the rapids of opening yet another business.
We've had setbacks and leap aheads and rapprochements and bursting flowers and birthdays and employee turnover and more death in the family including a family pet who is on the way out, only to level up, level up, level up!
We're growing, growing, growing and like Bruce Banner, the shirt rips and tears but the muscles continue to explode.
When your heart is full of love for your family and for your community, NOTHING can stop you from growing.
The love I have for my father is GIGANTIC and I hope you feel it in everything I do. He loved Sturgeon Bay so dearly.
The love I have for my SON is ENORMOUS and I hope you feel it with everything I do.
The love I have for my HUSBAND is HUMUNGOUS and I hope you feel it with everything I do.
I know I have the reputation in town of being a little too busy and maybe I have the tendency to not think things through too much of the time, and well, you're right. I am more of a big picture visionary and I set my ship towards the horizon of the dream and let the rest of it sort itself out. Sometimes that gets annoying but try and think of it like this..... no one tells a hummingbird to slow down, you know?
I am sorry for causing a ruckus with all these ideas but there is a reason this place is called the DREAM house. There is a reason my real estate company was called dayDREAM properties. There is a reason my derby name is DREAMboat Fannie. Dreaming is free and it's fun and I don't ever want to stop dreaming and.....doing.
Doing whatever it takes to show my love to you all. Some call it people pleasing but so what.... wouldn't it be nice if more people did things out of love for their neighbors?
Here are the current projects I am working on, and you better believe there are more cooking.

I want to thank my wonderful wonderful wonderful staff past and present for helping us get here. My goodness we have been blessed to know you all. (Anna Nowicki I am looking at YOU) I want to thank my AMAZING and talented SISTER Heidi who is so so good at what she does and loves you all now too! It's a family affair!! Most of all, I want to thank the cutest, funniest, most patient and loving sweet handsome dimply man Jeff Neske for your everything. Thank you for holding the string to my kite! You are the bees knees honey. I love you!!!
Can we talk about Becca for a second? I thought I had a big heart. She's blowing me away with her stamina and style. There are no words to describe how impressed I am with her work ethic and chutzpah. She is a shiny bright light and makes everything with love. Love for her mother, love for her children and father, love for baking. Go show her some love!
I tried to tag everyone but I am missing so many so I am sure I will be back to tag you in the comments as I am reminded of all of the wonderful people who have helped keep the dream alive.
But now, my hummingbird brain needs to get back to work!!
Älskar er alla,
Heather
