With everything going on in the world right now, I’ve found myself pausing a lot lately to just look around and feel profoundly grateful for where we live.

There is a quiet grace to life here in the Blue Ridge foothills. We might not have all the flash or speed of the big cities, but we have something infinitely better: a place where neighbors still look out for one another without being asked. It’s a community where kids automatically hold the door and call adults sir and ma'am, where the rhythm of the week still slows down on Sunday for church bells, pancakes, and an afternoon nap.

It isn't always easy out there, but having a place like this—and people like you—makes the heavy days lighter. This is especially true of the Strasburg Farmers Market family. Thank you for being the kind of community that still knows how to take care of its own.
