Greetings, friends just checking in to let you know we're still chugging away here making more kringla than ever and looking forward to serving all of you. We also wanted to let you know that we are no longer serving Jewell Market in Jewell Iowa. Garren and the team have been wonderful partners and we have enjoyed working with them. For our Jewell customers, we have kringla in Fareway Story City, Ames, Boone, Nevada, and Town & Country Market in Slater. Stay tuned for more stores as we get in them. Friends, we want to extend our sincerest apologies. We are unsure of the reason why but Facebook messenger has not been working properly and we are just now receiving very old messages. Greetings, friends and family! We wanted to share some exciting news with all of you. We are now officially in both Ames Fareway locations, Story City Fareway, and Boone Fareway. So, in addition to finding our Kringla at Jewell Market in Jewell and Town & Country in Slater, you can now visit your local Ames, Story City, or Boone Fareway as well! thank you as always for your support and we look forward to serving you.

Greetings to you all! We realized it's been a long time since we've posted anything about the the bakery here on FB and we just wanted to give a quick update. Due to continued rising costs of ingredients, we are raising prices on our products to keep up. It's something that we have not done in a while, but it's time. Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and friendship. We look forward to baking up memories for you now and in the future. You will continue to find our Kringla at Jewell Market in Jewell and Town & Country in Slater and we will keep you updated on any other retail locations where our product will be carried. If you have any requests of places that you would like us to sell Kringla, please let us know! Happy New Year!

****UPDATE**** Thanks to our friend, we had a very competent and kind gentleman come and fix the problem. We are very fortunate we threw the breaker when we did. So, vacation's over- back to the kringla baking 😂

From the bakery:

Greetings, friends, neighbors, and customers! I apologize for being off-line for so long. I just jumped on to let you know that we will not be baking for the foreseeable future. We have what appears to be an electrical issue that is going to require some serious work to get to. Luckily, we did not have a fire, but we were close. Just putting it out there our whole house isn't without power. I just threw a breaker to the ovens for safety. I didn't want anyone to needlessly worry. So, we will keep you apprised of when we are back up and running, but it definitely will not be anytime soon. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and thank you so much as always for being our loyal friends and patrons.

Greeting friends! As usual, time got away from us. We will not be baking for a few days because my husband and best friend, Michael, passed away yesterday. We need some time to grieve and settle in to life without him with us. We know that you will understand and we thank you very much for your friendship and kindness during this very hard time for our family. We will update as soon as we're back to baking.

Greetings, friends! It's been forever since I posted I apologize. We've had a lot going on in our personal life. My husband has been through ringer in the health world, and he is now on home hospice. This being said, our baking has slowed down tremendously. Also of noteworthy news, the bakery has been transferred in ownership to my son, Benjamin. As we are transitioning into new ownership and a new season of life in our house, we are just trying to adjust and make everything fit. we appreciate all of you and your understanding and we look forward to serving you in the future!

Greetings, friends! I wanted to give you an update. Honestly, I was hoping for a better update, but the fact of the matter is, we're still in the trenches here. Last week brought with it doctors visits that brought not very good news and I don't really want to go into detail right now. Michael needs to have a medical procedure done on Tuesday and we are hoping for a positive outcome. He is an amazing man who has overcome so much already, and he will overcome this too.
That being said, our baking is truly limited right now. We're certainly not quitting, but we're not going to be in the stores for at least a couple more days. We hope to be back around Thursday. We really appreciate all of you and your support and understanding and we're really sorry that we're not able to provide kringla for you right now but at the moment we just kind of have to focus inward and get past this next challenge. Thank you for your continued support and friendship!
