Introduction 💕
I wanted to hop on here to re-introduce myself! I’ve gained some new followers, some new vendor friends, and some new venues that I’m a part of. Soooo… Hey there cake friends!
My name is Danielle Nickens. I’m 36 years old, and I’ve been in the wedding world for the past 8 years, with 13 years of experience decorating cakes. 🎂✨
I started out small working in grocery store bakeries, then went on to earn my pastry diploma and work in other bakeries before taking the leap to open my own business. Curbside Cakery has been in business for 8 years now, and I currently work out of a commercial kitchen I built on my property (completely separate from my home). I spent 7 of those years in Stoneville before relocating last July.
Curbside Cakery does it all—from big statement wedding cakes to small cutting cakes, cupcake towers, dessert bars, and even our mobile dessert truck 🍰🧁✨
Weddings are truly my favorite part of what I do. I love being a small part of such a big love story and creating desserts that help celebrate those unforgettable moments. 💍
On the personal side, I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 10 years—we just celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary in January 2026—and we’ve been together almost 20 years. We have two amazing boys, Wyatt and Elliott ❤️💙
When I’m not baking, I’m probably cheering on my Philadelphia Eagles (biggest fan you’ll meet!) 🦅 💚 or wishing I could live at Disney World ✨🏰
