Open this weekend after noon on Saturday and Sunday. Sweet purple basil chardonnay jelly, sweet/spicy green tomato pickles, and Kristin's (beekeeper) organic pear butter with Meadowlark Acres honey. My favorite seasonal jelly! Sweet purple basil chardonnay jelly. No food color added - the basil turns it that beautiful rose shade. It's utterly unique in flavor - a little spicy (think cinnamon and clove), sweet, tart, and a bit floral. Perfect for small gifts for friends, family, teachers...and yourself of course. Use as glaze on meats or salmon, a tablespoon with oil and vinegar for salad dressing, or spread on toast for a morning treat. $5 a jar available at Meadowlark Acres in Stilwell, KS.

Meadowlark Acres will be open this Saturday with freshly canned pepper preserves and glaze. As well as a favorite "balsamic" glaze to put on mozzarella, tomatoes, and salads. There will be fresh focaccia to sample after 11 am Saturday.
