Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Birthday Grandma Dee, and HAPPY 11TH ANNIVERSARY MPC! Every year I reflect on just how hard it has been to get here. How many sleepless nights, how many years without a paycheck, equipment breakdowns, break-ins, personal and professional failures.. I knew what I was getting into when I quit my job and started MPC at 25, but boy howdy.. not a lot can prepare you for surviving owning a business through a pandemic, uprooting our location to a new city, navigating the fear and unknowns of our current political climate. But wow, has there been joy. Getting to work with your hands, surrounded by incredible and talented coworkers and friends, I wouldn't trade it for anything. It didn't take me long to realize that MPC really is the culmination of so many hard working people that show up, day in and day out. Their ideas and drive inspire me when I am feeling burned out, and I am forever indebted to them. I am also so lucky and thrilled to get to share it all now full-time with my still newly retired veteran husband! My only regret is his bread is getting better than mine. 😉 Hug your loved ones today, be grateful, support your immigrant neighbors and always remember to support small businesses! A little goes a long way! ❤️
