Let's talk LEARNING CURVES! Although this was from a while back it still shows that no matter how on top of things you are mistakes happen in a bakery. Last week was a pretty big bakery week so a few mistakes happened (and were easily corrected) I baked a vanilla cake instead of chocolate and had to remake that cake, I took one of the wedding cakes to the wrong venue for a hot second and needed to run back and get them to to correct venue....I was hard on myself in the moment but looking back everything worked out last week and I have cake scraps...so I'm not sad!

To know me, is to understand I am that girl! When delivering wedding cakes, I saw this baby groundhog just sitting in the road, moving super slowly, so I helped him cross so he wouldn't get hit. I have 2 passions in life: BAKING and REHABBING wildlife. I don't think either of those things will change with age.

So if you see me with a cake in one hand and one foot shooing an animal across the road, know it's all done with the biggest ❤️
