Sweetie's is a home-based business registered with the Department of Agriculture and Food offering cinnamon rolls, cupakes, cookie bars, & custom cakes made from scratch. Sweetie's specializes in cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, cookie bars, breads and custom cakes. Everything is made from scratch and no corners are cut. Sweetie's bakes with real butter and firmly believes in cream cheese frosting. Sweet

ie's also makes salsa, not just any salsa, but salsa made from tomatoes and a variety of peppers grown in her very own backyard garden. She also makes jams and jellies. Have you ever heard of chokecherry jelly? Would you like to try some? Sweetie's picks the chokecherries wild from the mountain valleys east of Manti, Utah. She juices these puckering little devils herself and turns them into a one-of-a-kind jelly. There is a special reason behind the taste of Sweetie's products; the recipes are family recipes that have been lovingly and "tastefully" passed down through the years. Of course some products are Sweetie's originals, but products like Granny LaRee's Salsa, Grandma Velma's Chokecherry Jelly, and Momma Lori's White Bread are family treasures so good they have to be shared. Sweetie's does not have a store front, but takes orders any day except Sunday and some holidays. When placing orders please allow 2-3 days in advance for standard orders and 1 week for custom orders. Delivery is available for a fee depending on location.

I haven't made a cake post in a while, but it's not cuz I haven't been busy! BUT: I am taking a break from all custom cake orders. As my family grows (and as an addition is on its way) I need more time to take care of them.

I don't plan on this being a permanent thing, but right now I need more time to take care of what matters most. I will still honor any custom cake certificates that were purchased at the Benefit Auctions for Amber Olson and Jackson Hill. And at this time I WILL STILL BE taking orders for cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and cookie bars. Thank you EVERYONE for the support and business you have given me, it means so much!!

Maybe you didn't know: a lot of my recipes are family recipes, passed down and cherished. This jelly was always my favorite growing up, made by my Grandma Velma, my dad's mom, using mountain picked chokecherries. The salsa recipe I use was adapted from a recipe from my Grandma LaRee, my mom's mom, always using fresh garden grown veggies. I come from a long line of wonderful cooks on both sides of my family and I'm proud to share some of it with you!

Salsa is ready! $7 per pint before tax or $40 for 6 pints before tax. Betcha didn't know: I'm required to test the pH of each batch of salsa I make before I can offer it for sale to the public and keep a log of its acidity. When I first started selling salsa I went through months of literal testing to not only perfect the recipe (my grandma's recipe) but to obtain my process letter for approval of its production. *Spicy salsa will be coming with the next ripening of tomatoes!
