Got to see sweet Sally this morning when we dropped off some other kitties at the vet! She is still not out of the woods at all and the vet is actually going to hold onto her over the weekend to get some more antibiotics into her and do some more tub feeding. She is however eating some baby food so thatβs great news! Please keep sending Sally all the thoughts, vibes and prayers you can! π€

Angus and Fawn are SO excited that we are going to be getting the next phase of our fencing project underway this weekend. Unfortunately, our connect that we had for the actual posts fell thru. So we are scrambling to find and get some posts delivered out here before Saturday! We have found some but of course with the price of lumber and delivery the price has doubled! Fell in love with Queen Lalaβs @cakesbylalae glam square cake and just had to attempt at it! If you donβt already, please go follow her because all her work is majestic πβ€οΈ This was my first time doing a square cake. I am truly so appreciate how much each cake provides such a learning experience for me!! Iβm so in love with the gold details and the red roses π₯ This cake took forever to do but it was absolutely worth it!
Itβs taken me a little while to post about my one year but Iβm still in shock. I canβt believe a WHOLE year has passed since I started NidhiCakes. I never thought Iβd get here. Thank you for your love, thank you for your support, thank you for everything! God has provided me with such an amazing support system, there has never been a moment where I didnβt feel love. This has been such a humbling process and I am truly grateful. God is good all the time β¨

strong women lift up strong women & strong men support strong women // did you know that women-owned small businesses represent only 30% of small businesses globally? and while - along with the number of c-suite executives in food - that number is increasing, it's still an incredibly small piece of the pie. our hope is to keep increasing that percentage each year, especially after the workforce lost an overwhelmingly large number of women in 2021. as we get ready to welcome the newest member of team chipkick (baby gio is due this month!), we empathize with the challenge of running a business while also planning to expand (and be present in!) our family AND working full time jobs on the side. the hustle is real. (and thank you to our co-founder for always supporting us and keeping operations afloat so we can do what we do best!)
