First loaf made in Virginia!
Given the fact I hand mixed the dough in a weird Tupperware bowl and everything I did and used was a rudimentary version of what I'm used to working with, I'd say this was a success and honestly I really needed this win today.
I'm so happy with all the bubbles and the ear that formed on it! 😍

We arrived in VA at the end of June. Adjusting to a different climate and inconsistent feedings made her go into a deep hibernation mode.
Today was the first day I've seen any activity after 6 days of double feedings and I literally screamed "SHE'S ALIVE" at my family. 🤣
Since all our belongings still haven't arrived, now I just have to wait until then and keep feeding her.
Then bread...all the bread.
I've missed it immensely.
Happy Sunday! 🫶

Hello all! It's been a while!
This was my last sourdough that I made in Texas and I figured since tomorrow is my last day here in this state, I'd share it with you!
It was gifted to a dear friend who has supported my baking since the beginning! 🫶
It has been an absolute pleasure to serve this community and I can only hope that Virginia is ready for all this sourdough and baking goodness.
Thank you for the love and all the amazing memories here!

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I have to announce that I am closing One Punch Dough temporarily while my family transitions to the next chapter of life.
I'll still be baking, but not as frequently.
If anyone would like to learn more about baking, I'm only a text away! I would absolutely love to help you make bread at home.
I felt it only right to share this on the eve of having been opened for 4 whole years while living in Texas.
These past few weeks I've been dreading this and trying to find the right words to say. I knew this day would arrive eventually with my husband separating from the military and finding a job elsewhere but it cuts deep nonetheless.
The friendships and collaborations I've had will forever hold a very dear spot in my heart.
I have enjoyed every moment and am so incredibly grateful to all the people I have met, all the stories you all have shared with me over the years and relationships I've made through bread.
Thank you for enjoying my breads and baked goods.
Thank you for the incredible support through all the shenanigans and various life events I've shared.
Thank you for joining me on this crazy bread journey.
❤️

I call this loaf "loving from a distance".
Sometimes the ones we love are separated from us with a vast distance and it is a hard thing to deal with, especially on those tough days.
I dedicate this loaf to anybody going through that struggle right now. You're not alone. ❤️
I will be heading out on today's deliveries around 9 at the earliest. 🙂
I hope that you have such a wonderful day!

I'm feeling all love inspired today and I'm also very excited that Valentine's Day falls on a Tuesday this year.
I'm absolutely having tacos! 😍
Do you have any fun plans or yearly traditions with your SO?
There are only four more spots available on the 13th for the Valentine's Day bundle! ❤️

Strawberry swirled challah has never looked so pretty! 😍
Wanted to take a closer look at this lovely challah that is available with the Valentine's bundle! ❤️
I use an all natural, raw strawberry powder made by Nuts.com to achieve this color and it smells absolutely incredible.
Also, I realized that bagels and hand pies were bigger hits than I anticipated so I added more spots for those on the 18th and 25th. 👀
I hope you are staying warm on this cold Monday!

⚜️ Let the good times roll! ⚜️
Mardi gras bundle will include:
> 1 classic king cake
> 12 themed decorative cookies made by Sprinkled Sweets Cookie Co.
I couldn't wait to share this because I'm in LOVE with how these turned out! 😍
Also VERY excited about my second variety of king cake: Voodoo!
The Voodoo flavor is a spiced chocolate brioche dough, filled with dulce de leche and pecans. Top the whole thing off with vanilla glaze, colored sanding sugar and a chocolate drizzle.
The king cakes will also be available to pre-order separately.
💜💚💛
You won't want to miss out on trying this!
Plus, we all know that king cake calories don't count. 😜

February also has another bundle I'm thrilled about but I will share more about that tomorrow. ⚜️
My menu has slimmed down quite a bit, I have streamlined the ordering process a bit as well so I hope it navigates easier for everyone.
As always, orders will not be sent a confirmation until payment is made.
Emails will originate from Cococart so it may end up in your spam folder. Please check and make sure you don't miss it!
I had a slight scare recently with my oven breaking (yes, again). But thankfully it is under warranty and will be fixed this upcoming Friday. That's why I can't rush into the first week of February.
Those that reached out after watching my posted stories, thank you and you're all so amazing for being so caring and sweet.
Email subscribers... definitely read that email 👀 because an extra special thing went out to you. ❤️
I hope you're all excited!
I'm excited.
I can't wait to start baking for you!

Check out all the bubbly action of my levains and starter. 😍
Just because I took January off doesn't mean I haven't been busy!
Busy thinking up new ideas, testing new recipes, new collaborations, and focusing on having a streamlined process overall.
I am SO excited to return to baking for you in February! ❤️

I have been baking for most of my 30 years of life, starting more seriously around 2016 after my son was born. It massively helped me navigate through some tough times and allowed me to find happiness.
After the first quarantine hit with Covid-19, I was asked to make bread from various friends and family because they simply couldn’t find any at the grocery stores. I supported the community as much as I could and when supplies regulated, people reached out to me asking me what my prices were.
So in short, what started out as my personal cure for sadness, turned into a hobby, which turned into community service, finally became the growing business it is today.
I love that I can keep my prices so reasonable for homemade baked goods. I work hard to make sure that all my ingredients are of the best quality that I can find and the product you receive is as fresh as I can make it.
A little more about me; I grew up and down the East coast with random moments of living out West. Thanks to the military, my husband, 2 kids and our dog Dexter moved to Texas in 2019 shortly after the birth of my 2nd child. We picked up our 2nd dog, Taco, who was literally abandoned on the street in 2020.
I have had a wide variety of jobs throughout my life. I started out as a teaching assistant, teaching kids Hebrew. I fell in love with science and robotics in high school and into college and decided to pursue a degree in computer science. I worked as a programmer for several years before getting burnt out on many issues I had with the company I worked for. Afterwards I went into retail and worked my way up the ladder to eventually becoming a visual GM (I’m pretty good at throwing some cute looks together if I try). ;D I’ve worked for a furniture company and used to drive between Delaware, Virginia, Maryland transforming different stores in the district to help drive sales and create fun and inviting looks for people to recreate in their home. After getting married and having my first kid, my husband and I decided it was best if I didn’t return to work because daycare costs were so astronomical. I became a stay at home mom in 2016 and thus my real love for baking began.
It’s been a long and crazy journey but I wouldn’t be able to do the things I do without the support and encouragement I receive from everyone in my life.
