We’re so excited to have her joining us this season!
"My name is Caila Van Scoy, and I’m the baker behind Caila’s Cakes, my licensed
cottage home bakery based in Stafford, CT. I grew up in Tolland and recently moved to
Stafford last year. I graduated from the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, and
what started as baking for friends and family quickly grew into something much more.
The most important part of my baking is the quality of ingredients. I strive to use higher-
quality ingredients, including organic ingredients whenever possible, and make as much
as I can from scratch. I’m always up for a new challenge and enjoy adding new items
throughout the season. My farmers market menu will be posted weekly for those
planning to stop by. Some of the items I specialize in include specialty cakes, cookies,
decorated sugar cookies, pies, sourdough pastries, and other baked goods.
