I’ve been a little MIA lately 🤍 Winter had me in a bit of a funk—cold, snow, all of it—but in the middle of a new season of life, I also got to celebrate my baby’s very first birthday 🥹🎂. Through it all, my love for baking is still very much alive. I’ve been experimenting with brioche, cinnamon rolls, and… lots of crackers. Like, a lot of crackers 😅. I promise I’ll be back soon—especially with warmer weather on the horizon, because I’m sorry, but I don’t trust a groundhog to predict winter anyway 🐿️🌷

Confessions from the bread shed 👀🍞
1️⃣ I don’t open-bake, so these mini loaves might look a little rustic… but the were my family only
2️⃣ I always overestimate my loaf sizes so I can taste test every single small batch (quality control, obviously)
3️⃣ My official taste testers are my husband and my 11-month-old… and since she was on her second slice, I think it’s safe to say this batch was a hit 🥹👏

✨ One of my favorite parts of my wedding prep was being able to bake my own sourdough cookies for our guests — such a sweet, full-circle moment. 🍪💍

And the best part? I finally perfected the individual packaging!

No walk-ups this weekend 💛

I wish I had a few extra loaves to put out, but this week has just been… a lot. Year-end at work (yes, ours is in October 🤪), less than 50 days until our wedding (!!), and I’m still finding the right rhythm for this little microbakery — trying to bake enough without over baking.

My dream is to one day make this my full-time job, but for now I’m learning, adjusting, and taking it one bake at a time.

Thank you, truly, to everyone who’s been pre-ordering, sharing, and cheering me on. You make this all possible.
Should I be scaling back for a bit? Or leaning into what’s working?
