Huge shout out to my Donut Palace family — for that is truly who you are. ♥️🍩
A freak slip and fall in January resulted in my toes facing the wrong direction (officially a bimalleolar ankle fracture), repaired by an apple fritter loving orthopedic surgeon.👨‍⚕️
Recovery began with 7 weeks non weight bearing then months of physical therapy to walk again. 🩼
Months of not working. 🗓️
The person who works the most hours (alongside my other half)….suddenly couldn’t work any. 😭
Excruciating, physically and mentally. 🛋️
These high school girls stepped up — working more and longer shifts. What they’ve done is incredible. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3 of my college girls came home to help on multiple weekends and this summer. 💛🖤♥️💙
A former manager worked Sundays, an extra help with so many church orders. ⛪️
My daughter paused her classes to run Sunset Hills. 🫶
Steve did all his stuff, and mine. At work and at home. 🤪
I’m slowly increasing my time back in the shops as I continue to make gains with my physical therapy. I so appreciate all the prayers and warm greetings from so many customers — it’s nice to be missed and good to be seen! 👀
