How Scrumptious Cheesecakes Began

Lisa Anne, an entrepreneur, began her cheesecake career as a home-based baker in Union, Missouri in 2010. Having been raised on a Texas farm, she was not only familiar with home baking, but had also developed a special skill for it. While raising her two daughters, she began baking desserts for her friends and then also began to sell them. As the demand overwhelmed her individual ability, her daughters began helping. Now her youngest daughter, Haley (now 20 years old), wants to help/take over. After careful consideration her daughter’s offer, Lisa Anne narrowed her focus to the product on which she could best capitalize… cheesecake. Today, Scrumptious Cheesecakes includes over 40 flavors in a variety of sizes and slicing options. Every cheesecake is still made in her home kitchen… by hand. Even after all these years, Lisa Anne & Haley continues to manage the growing business with the same enthusiasm.
